 This is an annual event that for the past 3 years was sponsored by Safaricom.
The aims of the run include; - Creating awareness on the importance of the forest and its conservation - Encouraging interaction between the local community, government agencies and the private sector, all of who are stake holders in conservation. - Raising funds for the Sanctuary. The event is usually divided into 10km, 5km and 3km categories with the later being the favorite for walking by parents and young kids.
